Here's it is:
X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.So, they are totally remixing the X-Men history. Adding in half of the original five, bringing in Armageddon (son of Jean Grey's cells and Apocalypse), the Hellfire Club?, Mystique, no Gabrielle Haller and Nighcrawler's demon daddy?
This sounds like an overstuffed X-Men Annual.
I'm sorry writers; but if you wanted to tell a new story, you should wrote a brand new story. Meaning, something without 40 plus years of comic book history. By making a mess stew of the X-Men, fans will never trust you again. I mean, X3 made money, but it stabbed us in the heart and Wolverine, honey, that was like salt poured in my freshly pulled out eyes.
The plot synopsis sounds a bit off. This is not the X-Men history we know. And why is this called X-Men First Class, when this isn't about the original first class or any stories closely to the history? Seriously Fox, this is a Hot Ass Mess!!
Disney, please pay attention to this, because this will the best time to take back the series. It's yours!
I bet they are thinking, "it's our toys, why are the dirty poor kids, from next door playing with them?"
I need to read this script, because the only Armageddon I see, is this movie.
