Actor and Choreographer Lawrence Street has went missing in Denver. His friends and colleagues are highly concerned and doing everything find out what happen.

Street came to Colorado to choreograph “The Wizard of Oz,” the debut production for the new professional summer theater company in Louisville. Street was in the original Broadway company of “Urinetown,” and also performed on Broadway in “South Pacific.” Street and fellow Broadway veteran Margaret Ann Gates were commissioned by Louisville’s The Art Underground to create a New York-quality summer musical, which is scheduled to open on Friday.If anyone knows anything, please call contact the Louisville Police Department at 303-666-6531, the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000, or Street’s friends John Ayres at 917-617-4861 or Erin Quill at 213-926-7465.
Late Tuesday, Lori Jones, director of The Art Underground, issued the following statement:
“The Art Underground staff are actively looking for our choreographer for ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ Lawrence Street. No one has had direct contact with him since Sunday morning. A missing person’s report was filed at the Louisville police department on Monday morning. We are obviously very concerned about his well-being.”
Street’s friend, Franklin Trapp, who is monitoring the situation from New York and has reported Street’s disappearance to the Denver and Louisville police departments, believes Street was last seen in Denver at 5 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Monaco Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.
