My Review: Magic Mike

I just saw Magic Mike and y'all... It's hot! But not just hot, it's fun and there's message in all that stripping.

This is the little movie that could and it truly exceeded my expectations. So let me hit y'all up with my review, bullet style of course.

•  The movie is very stylish and quick on its feet.
• Channing Tatum... My f-ing God, he is so hot to watch! His dancing was amazing. I could watch him dance for hours.
• This movie put DWPs (Dirty White Boys) back on the map.
• Matt Bomer was adorable.
• Matthew McConaughey looks good in leather pants.
• The story was easy to follow and pretty good.
• Channing was very good as Mike, there was some depth to him.
• Alex Pettyfer had a scene that got me very, um, caught up. He has nice moves.
• The first 15 minutes sold the movie.
• Joe Manganiello showed us why he was called Big Dick Richie.
• Steven Soderbergh did a great job with the look and feel of the film.
• Kathy Griffin was in the audience and she stripped for us.
• Again Channing was so hot.

If you want a good time and "flap" material, go see this film.

Will Joe Manganiello play 'Big Dick Richie' in the All Male Stripper Film?

The future "Gay" flick, "Magic Mike" already has a hot cast, but now it may become an inferno. Joe Manganiello is in talks to star in the movie and his character is... Well, you saw the title:

Manganiello will play Big Dick Richie (no, we didn’t make that up), a role that is sure to require the ripped actor to drop trou at one point or another.


The flick will feature Tatum as the title character, a veteran stripper who mentors a younger dancer (I Am Number Four‘s Pettyfer) in the art of hustling. McConaughey will portray a former stripper who now owns the club, called Xquisite, where Tatum’s character works.

This movie is the real "Burlesque" we been asking for.

Joe Manganiello: 'Superman' loss left me Depressed

I knew the Superman role was a hard hit for Joe. In fact, he was a little depressed about it.

Digital Spy has the story:

Discussing how he felt after losing out on the Superman part, Manganiello added: "This was back in January. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't... I was really, severely depressed for a few months. For a few months afterwards. 

"Because I really thought the direction they were taking the movie and the character, I really thought I had a great idea where to take that and I was very excited and I just wanted to try out my ideas and things. But, you know, it just wasn't meant to be.

Aww, but I'm sure the big guy will be okay. I mean, he's worship by thousands of fans. He will be fine.

Hot Rumor! Joe Manganiello could be Superman?

It's never a dull moment in the Superman search. I was Kool-Aiding around on the True Blood sites, when I saw this info on True-Blood.net

"Joe Manganiello is appearing at EyeCon this weekend, and per reports from fans at the convention, he revealed that he is in talks with Warner Bros. to play the Man of Steel in the upcoming Superman reboot. Others rumored to be up for the role are Brendan Routh who played Clark Kent in Superman Returns and Tom Welling who has played the role on Smallville for 10 seasons. What do you think, would Joe make a good Superman?" 

Joe would be good, great even. Bu according to his Twitter account, he's not in talks yet. Still, my heart is to Brandon to reprise the role.
