Stupidity reigns in Mississippi - 52% believes Obama is a Muslim

This is not a surprise, but it's so sad. In the deep parts of the South, many of them still believe Obama is a Muslim.
In the midst of tight GOP primaries in both states, Public Policy Polling (PPP) has released information showing that a majority of likely GOP primary voters in the Deep South do not see Obama as a Christian. PPP's Alabama survey of 600 likely GOP primary voters found that only 14 percent consider Obama a Christian, while 45 percent said he is a Muslim and 41 percent answered that they were not sure.

A similar picture surfaced in Mississippi. Of 656 likely GOP primary voters surveyed, 12 percent said Obama was a Christian, 52 percent classified him as a Muslim, and 36 percent fell in the "not sure" category.
Why must the South continue to live up to the stereotypes?

Rick Santorum charges President Obama of 'Hubris' And 'Snobbery' for wanting Kids to go to College

In Manchester, N.H., Rick told some folks that Obama was WRONG to say all American kids should go to college. How dare Obama tell them that?

Rick said:
I was so outraged by the president of the United States for standing up and saying every child in America should go to college. Well who are you? Who are you to say that every child in America should [go to college]? I mean, the hubris of this president to think that he knows what's best.

I have seven kids. Maybe they will all go to college. But if one of my kids wants to go and be an auto-mechanic, good for him. That's a good paying job: using your hands, using your mind. This is the kind of snobbery that we see from those who think they know how to run our lives. Rise up America, defend your own freedoms. And overthrow these folks who think they know how to orchestrate every aspect of your lives.
Yeah, Rick! Why would Obama want kids to dream big and get an education? That's so arrogant and prideful... Impeach Obama!

OWS Protesters interrupt President Obama's Speech - VIDEO

Obama tells them that he's on their side.

 Mediaite reports:
In New Hampshire just a few minutes ago, President Obama was the latest to receive the human microphone treatment. Really, though, this was probably just an attempt to invent a new human teleprompter.

Unsurprisingly, unlike some of the other protests of this kind, the protesters shouting at the President of the United States didn’t get to take the attention for that long. Shortly after they began their message (“Mr. President, over 4,000 peaceful protesters have been arrested…”), the crowd turned on them, booing and eventually drowning them out with “Obama!” chants.
He did handle it well

Interesting Quote: Pat Buchanan

"I was asked who was the big losers in these battles and the big winners, and I said one of the big losers, using boxing terminology, was 'your boy,' and I meant the president of the United States. Rev. Sharpton said my boy is the president of the United States and he's doing a rope-a-dope in the Ali fashion and he's going to finish off your crowd. Now this was taken, some folks took what I said as some kind of slur. None was meant, none was intended, none was delivered, for the record."
Pat clarifies the"Your Boy, Obama" statement.

Gay Donors will Support President Obama Re-election efforts

Well I'm glad to know that gay donors are and will be supporting President Obama re-election. After a few years of disillusionment from some gay bloggers and activists, many donors will still stick with Obama.

Politico has more:
Gay donors, though, have only intensified their support and are expected to participate in unprecedented numbers in a “LGBT Gala” DNC fundraiser scheduled for June 23 in New York.

“He’s coming back up in the estimation of the gay community pretty rapidly, and I think justifiably,” said Ethan Geto, a New York lobbyist and key figure in Dean’s gay fundraising, who said many gay supporters had hoped “don’t ask” would be repealed during the president’s first year in office. “When things didn’t happen in [that] time frame and on the track that Obama had held out hope for, people got very disillusioned,” said Geto. “This was the time to strike.”

Others said that Republican candidates’ shots at gay rights in their attempt to appeal to socially conservative Iowa voters had reminded gay donors of the stakes. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum this week said gays and lesbians shouldn’t have the “privilege” of adopting children, while former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty suggested he would block the repeal of the ban on gays in the military, and Donald Trump compared same-sex marriage to faddish golf gear.

“Our community has tasted change, and it’s hard to conceive of going backward,” said Fred Sainz, the vice president for communications for the Human Rights Campaign, the largest gay rights group. “It’s hard to conceive of that coming to a screeching halt or reversing — and so it’s a subject of great energy for members of my community and especially those with great resources.”

“Any reservations that a significant number of donors might sit this out have been answered by Donald Trump and the fools in the Republican Party,” said Mixner. “They have become so vehemently anti-gay.”
We know what's at stake. The GOP has come out in full force to stop our goals. Regardless of feelings towards, he has come through from us. So I hope he gets the support he needs.

OC Tea Party Activist sends out a Racist Obama Email

The OC is not just known for the stupid TV series, it's also known to be highly conservative and a bit racist.

This weekend, we got to see why the OC has such labels.
Orange County might be a beautiful oceanfront locale, but it's also home to Holocaust deniers, vicious anti-gay bigots and freakish big-haired televangelists.

Here, one of our Republican politicians welcomed the inauguration of the first African American U.S. president in early 2009 by sending out an email that depicted a watermelon field in front of the White House.

That incident drew embarrassing international attention, but now another Orange County Republican has apparently topped the watermelon imagery with another racist attack on President Barack Obama.

The Weekly has obtained a copy of an email sent to fellow conservatives this week by Marilyn Davenport, a Southern California Tea Party activist and member of the central committee of the Orange County Republican Party.

Under the words, "Now you know why no birth certificate," there's an Obama family portrait showing them as apes.
Marilyn Davenport didn't think it was bad (of course this tramp didn't) and claimed the liberal media is out to get her. She sent another to "apologize":
"I simply found it amusing regarding the character of [President Barack] Obama and all the questions surrounding his origin of birth," Davenport wrote. "In no way did I even consider the fact he's half black when I sent out the email. In fact, the thought never entered my mind until one or two other people [Scott Baugh, Orange County GOP boss, and this writer] tried to make this about race . . . I received plenty of emails about George Bush that I didn't particularly like yet there was no 'cry' in the media about them . . . That being said, I will NOT resign my central committee position over this matter that the average person knows and agrees is much to do about nothing."
Well, you should resign and you may have no choice as the story goes on the news later tonight.

More to come on this
