In the horror movie world, folks get lazy. They think if millions watch it, they can keep it going and going and going. Well, that is NOT true. Some horror series are better off DEAD.
So, I'm going to call out the 5 horror movie series that should have been DEAD on arrival... Or at least after the 3rd movie.
Child's Play 1-5 - Why was there a Bride of Chucky?
Subspecies 1-5 This was a direct to video Vampire series. Not cute, but effective
Saw 1- Too Many! Kill this Series already!
Leprechaun 1-6 This series was painful to watch
Friday the 13th 1-12 Including the remake and the battle with Freddy
So it's Easter Sunday. The day Jesus came back! Anywho, since today is about resurrection, I thought I would showcase my favorite characters that won't stay DEAD.
Jean Grey - she is one the reasons why I started reading the X-Men. Jean has died, became the Phoenix, died, came back, died and switched bodies, became the Phoenix and died again. But she will be back
Stefano DiMera - Days of Our Lives is one of the longest running soap operas and one of my favorites. And out of the many interesting characters, Stefano, the villain of the show has died at least 12 times. His history on the show is something serious and crazy to boot
Jason Voorhees - It's Jason. Of course he has to come back
Captain Jack - He's sexy, pan-sexual and immortal... The perfect combination
When I was a kid, I was easily brainwashed in believing people of color couldn't be leaders, heroes and change agents. What really pushed it were cartoons. Usually the heroes were White and enemies or villains were other colors (green, orange, etc).
However, there were a few animated shows that stuck out and challenged the norm.
You know, nothing brings an old group of friends together like murder, secrets and horror. So this morning, I bring you my top picks for Reunion Horror Films
Ghost Story - love this voice over
Prom Night
I Know What You Did Last Summer
IT
Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors - This movie was the reunion of Nancy and Freddy, also the last of the Elm Street kids
I know they didn't make me gay, but these flick started the spark that ignited the Phoenix flames of Gaiety up in me... Okay, I know that was too much, but I'm crazy like that.
So check out the films that awaken the fierceness in me.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - This was a fun film and lead guy was the star of a couple of special dreams
Youngblood - One of Rob Lowe's finest
Stand By Me - It had River and Kiefer in it
Pretty in Pink - I wanted to be a designer because of this movie
Young Guns - A lot of hotness in one movie that wasn't a porno
Remember the little scary stories you used to hear as a kid? Or the myths about the Easter Bunny and Bloody Mary? Well, luckily there were some decent horror flicks that played on those legends and created new nightmares to share with the next generation.
I like to believe we all have songs that are gay anthems to us personally. My anthems are not all "gay", but the words and passion in these songs remind me of why I'm gay and proud.
So, I like to share my gay anthems with you.
ELO - I'm Alive: the lyrics say so much
Labelle - Let Me See You in the Light
Patti Labelle - Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Carl Bean - I Was Born This Way (aka the better one)
Back when music videos were relevant, I used to record them and make video collections. However, certain ones were my daily fix to face the heavy High School days and a some of college.
So, let me show y'all my favorite dance videos of the early 90s.
Being a lover of Horror, Gore and Oddities can warp your mind... And force you to watch all kinds of frakked up movies.
Over the years, I've see some interesting horror movies and my favorites tend to be the ones that are completely out the box. And these flicks are really out the box.
So please, sit back and enjoy my favorite EVIL IS BORN movie picks
The Manitou - Is that a growth on your back, or are you happy to see me
Rosemary's Baby - a Devil's child

The Omen - The Devil had sex with a Jackal and Damien was born
DC Comics is doing really well in the Animated Movie world. I have been very impressed with the quality and style of these films. In fact, these films have made me fall in love with DC Comics again.

The Killing Joke - I think best of the best Batman stories out there
The Judas Contract- This series was a significant moment in the New Teen Titans comics.
The Great Darkness Saga- I never got into the Legion of Super-Heroes, but this storyline is the bomb! It was the first time I saw the true power Darkseid.
The Contest- Wonder Woman lost her title to Artemis. But the reasons behind Artemis' win was the real story.
Identity Crisis - DC's greatest heroes faced their dark past and the beginning more drama to come.
I grew up in a time where every look, dance move and style was based on Dance TV shows. I was always glued to the TV watching and learning about what was the latest moves and fashion outside of my little town of Union City, Tennessee.

According to the movies; if there's an affair, an accidental death or having a Celtic background in your family, chances are there's a series killer in your clan. I'll give examples:

Halloween - A insane brother with a curse
Prom Night - A sister's death drove a brother to massacre
Sleepaway Camp - A sister's death causes a brother to become the sister and kill
